General Dynamics Land Systems is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £44,000 to £66,000 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally. Joining an established team based at our Merthyr facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders, leveraging their extensive HR experience to implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives.
Championing company values, this role involves providing advanced HR support to all members of staff, role modelling best practice across the full employee lifecycle, leading complex projects and offering counsel to business leaders.
What you would be working on this week:
- Establishes and maintains an understanding of their business areas and the business, in the interest of building effective and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, at all levels of the organization.
- Organisational development & change management – to partner with the business to support transitional changes to the organisational programs including sensitive cases such as restructures, TUPE related activities and redundancies.
- Coach and challenge business leaders on key organisational, management and HR policies and processes ensuring compliance and supporting employee relations practices.
- Performance & Reward - supporting leaders in managing performance and recognition.
- Employee experience and culture, champion an inclusive, high-performance culture through employee engagement, development programs and proactive issue resolution.
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition with strong focus on acquiring, capability building and retaining top talent.
- Partner with leaders to review succession planning, identify high potential talent and build succession pipeline.
- Support the leadership team to drive an ‘A Team’ culture encompassing catalytic leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven generalist HR operating experience within a complex organization, support senior leaders and influencing decision making at SLT level.
- CIPD Level 7 or working towards is desirable.
- Ongoing commitment to CPD and maintaining up to date employment Law and best practice.
