The General Dental Council (GDC), the body responsible for regulating the UK dental profession, invites applications from candidates with wide experience in examinations and quality assurance to join its team of OREAG members as Lay Educationalist for an initial period of 3 years with the possibility of extension to 5 years.

The London-based Overseas Registration Exam (ORE) tests the clinical skills and knowledge of overseas dentists who wish to apply for registration to practise in the UK. You must have detailed knowledge of UK higher education systems and QAA principles, and knowledge of the healthcare regulatory framework, together with an understanding of professional practice.

We expect the time commitment to be in the region of 5 days per year and at least 1 additional day workshop annually.
