The General Dental Council has recently announced its Corporate Strategy. We have a clear delivery plan to achieve our strategic ambitions and remain committed to protecting the public and maintaining public confidence in the dental professions. This is key to our vision of being a trusted and effective regulator, supporting dental professionals to provide safe and effective care for their patients. To enable us to deliver our Corporate Strategy, we are expanding our policy team, recruiting 3 Policy and Project Officers. Through the support of our experienced team, the post offers an unrivalled opportunity to develop your policy-making skills whilst shaping essential public services.
Policy and Project Officers deliver policy projects which draw on evidence and data, stakeholder engagement, and public consultation. You will also help us to scan the horizon to be ahead of challenges and opportunities, respond to consultations, and keep specific parts of the GDC’s regulatory policy framework up to date.
