Position Summary
Proactively work alongside the Head of Fund Operations to develop initiatives that align with GA’s vision and priorities. Lead & coordinate Fund Operations activities with various functions and line‑manage Fund Operations staff. Act as a business partner to key stakeholders across the firm and serve as a single point of contact for the business teams and fund heads. Ensure senior management is regularly updated on key fund operational issues and developments. Synthesise complex ideas into clear insights for stakeholders and lead the review and analysis of reports to meet agreed timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support the deal teams in the execution of funds flow of investments and exits.
- Lead the drawdowns and distributions process and equalisations on LP closings with Vistra support.
- Prepare and present materials to the cash management forum and sign off carry workings, capacity and other forms of analysis.
- Interact with Vistra consultants and develop streamlined ways of sharing and reporting management information.
- Contribute to GTN management to reduce distribution times and work with service providers to bring down costs.
- Provide regular and ad‑hoc analytics to deal teams and fund and sign off quarterly investor reports on portfolio performance.
- Sign off on financial statements of funds under UK/US GAAP, LUX GAAP and IFRS and support capital solutions fundraising activities.
- Oversee compliance and side‑letter reporting, manage investor queries and support training of managers.
Qualifications
- Professional accountancy qualification or MBA with extensive post‑qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of private equity fund administration and UK/US GAAP & IFRS.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new processes and set up new controls ensuring compliance.
- Excellent communication, presentation and MS Office (Excel) proficiency.
- Ability to operate in an international, cross‑functional team environment.
