General Atlantic is looking for a Capital Solutions Analyst to support the firm’s investor relations and fundraising efforts. The candidate will be based in London and work closely with members of the global Capital Solutions team based in Hong Kong, New York, and San Francisco. The candidate will collaborate with other professionals across the firm, including the investment team, legal, finance and accounting and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Investor Servicing: support relationships with existing investors across all aspects of the client service, including portfolio updates, ongoing investor templates, and ad‑hoc investor requests.
- Distribution Support: organize briefing materials for investor meetings by researching investor backgrounds and assessing the firm’s investment products.
- Project Management: lead internal projects combining all aspects of fundraising including investor prospecting, product development, database management, and pipeline tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3 years of experience at a placement agent, fund‑of‑funds, or alternative asset manager strongly preferred; familiarity with the institutional fundraising process and LP landscape is a key differentiator.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, adept with financial data and ability to summarize digestible facts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; hands‑on experience with AI tools and platforms (e.g. large language models, AI‑assisted research or document drafting) and a demonstrated curiosity about how emerging technologies can improve analytical and operational workflows.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, well‑structured presentations, memos, and investor materials; strong verbal communication skills for effective internal collaboration across a global team.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- A high level of professional maturity and a solid work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal skills; proactive team contributor.
