Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Substation Project Project Duration: 18 months Start Date: Immediate start About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our clients team on a dynamic substation project. This role offers the opportunity to work on an essential infrastructure development project, helping to design, implement, and manage electrical systems in a high-impact setting. As an integral part of the team, you will be involved in every phase of the project, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, safe, and reliable electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: * Design and oversee the electrical systems for the substation project, including protection, control, and power systems. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (civil, mechanical, etc.) to ensure smooth project delivery. * Prepare and review technical specifications, designs, and reports. * Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. * Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. * Troubleshoot electrical system issues during the construction and commissioning phases. Key Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification). * Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on substations or similar projects. * Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and power systems. * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. * Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
