Role Overview Gencell Technical Services are seeking an experienced HV Authorised Person (AP) to support a live data centre project located Southern Belgium. This is a long-term contract role, initially for 12 month depending on project requirements. For this reason, you must have the right to work in Belgium (working visa or EU citizen). The HV AP will be responsible for ensuring the safe control, isolation, and authorisation of electrical systems in line with project safety procedures and industry best practice. Key Responsibilities * Act as Authorised Person for electrical systems on a live data centre site. * Control and authorise HV equipment, LV switching, isolations, and permits to work. * Ensure compliance with project safety rules, method statements, and risk assessments. * Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site management to ensure safe execution of works. * Maintain accurate permit, switching, and logbook documentation. * Support commissioning, energisation, and testing activities as required. * Promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture on site. Required Experience & Qualifications * Proven experience working as an Authorised Person (AP) * Certification to work in HV systems as an AP * Strong background in electrical systems within live or high-risk environments. * Familiarity with permit to work systems and electrical safety rules. * Ability to work independently and make safety-critical decisions. * Right to work in the EU or ability to travel/work in Germany.
