Design Manager

Role – Design Manager Location – Macclesfield Package – 80-100K Basic, Pension, Bonus, Annual Bonus, 26days annual leave, plus more Industry – Pharmaceutical This is an exciting opportunity to join a world class engineering business operating within the Construction and Engineering sector on a highly prestigious life science and pharmaceutical project. Responsibilities * Effective delivery of a pharmaceutical engineering design project * Lead the preconstruction design process * Liaising with the client, client vendors, design teams and internal technical and commercial teams * Dedicated to one specifc site * Showing both technical and commercial awareness in the interest of relevant stake holders * Design Compliance Experience and Background * Strong understanding of contractual administration, design and build, EPC’s and NEC contracts * Strong Lead Design experience * Understanding of life sciences, pharmaceutical or related industries and technologies * RIBA, FEL and AEC knowledge * Engineering MEP or Architectural background * Client Facing and communication skills * Engineering qualification/degree
