Gencell Technical Services are seeking an experienced CQV Engineer to support a large-scale pharmaceutical project based in the South West of the United Kingdom. This is a 6 month contract role requiring strong hands-on field execution experience across HVAC and black utility systems. The CQV Engineer will be responsible for commissioning, qualification, and validation activities across a range of systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Generation and execution of validation lifecycle documentation including:
- URS (User Requirement Specifications)
- QRA (Quality Risk Assessments)
- RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix)
- IQ / OQ protocols and IOQ reports
- Perform P&ID walkdowns and participate in W3 walkdowns alongside construction teams
- Execute field-based CQV activities from start-up and energisation through to shakedown and Operational Verification (OV) testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and qualification phases
- Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures, Safe Plans of Action, and support PSSR activities
- Review Construction Turnover Packages (CTOPs) and Construction System Dossiers (CSDs)
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in CQV within pharmaceutical or biotech environments
- Proven hands-on field execution experience across HVAC systems.
- Ideally degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
