Apprenticeship Duration:

  • Level 3 programmes: Around 18 months + EPA
  • Level 2 programme: Around 12 months + EPA

You’ll also build a portfolio of your work, take part in regular observations, and have professional discussions with your Gen2 assessor.

Eligibility and Requirements:

You must have (or be willing to work towards) Level 2 Maths and English before you finish the apprenticeship. Some flexibility applies depending on your age and the course level. Each employer will set their own minimum criteria in line with the requirements for the apprenticeship standard. Generally, most will be looking for candidates to have a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 (Grade C) in Maths and English; Functional Skills Level 2 will also be considered as equivalent to GCSE Grade 4 (Grade C).
