As a Senior Marketing Technology Consultant you’ll be expected to provide strategic and technical marketing advisory to our customers. You’ll be capable of taking business goals and transforming them into marketing roadmaps and then executing on your own plans. This is a technology-focused role, and therefore there is an expectation that you are appropriately capable in the marketing technology field and appropriate products and/or solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic advisory: Partner with clients to translate business goals into actionable Marketing roadmaps that can be executed by you or the wider Gen25 team.
  • Client leadership: Act as a trusted advisor, managing senior stakeholders and bridging the communication gap between marketing, IT and other departments.
  • Platform architecture: Lead the implementation and optimisation of marketing technology platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data360 (Data Cloud).
  • Technical execution: Design and implement best-practice, scalable marketing solutions to ensure high-performing, data and value-driven marketing outcomes.
  • Marketing data orchestration: Support wider marketing data-related initiatives by advising best practice and taking into account project and customer strategic goals.
  • Delegate and coach: Appropriately delegate work to the wider Marketing Consulting team and support with coaching junior team members.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant marketing technology experience
  • Demonstrable strategic marketing experience
  • Certification and proven experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (SFMC).
  • Proven data analytics or business intelligence experience
  • Understanding and/or experience with marketing performance measurement platforms or tooling e.g. Salesforce Marketing Intelligence
  • Experience with CRM platforms e.g. Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing plans, new people, new environments and technology

Nice to haves

  • Basic-intermediate scripting (such as HTML, CSS, JS, Ampscript, SQL) skills.
  • Experience in other marketing technology platforms.
  • Experience in (marketing) AI tools.
