Branthwaite Academy is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join their supportive school community this September! As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, helping pupils to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with small-group learning sessions and educational activities
- Helping children develop social, emotional, and communication skills
- Supporting teachers with the planning and delivery of learning activities
- Supervising and engaging with pupils during break and lunchtime periods
- Preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere throughout the school
- Supporting pupils with autism to access learning and engage confidently in classroom activities, following guidance from the class teacher and SEND team.
