Eaglesfield Paddle CE Primary Academy is looking for two enthusiastic and caring Early Years apprentices to join their team this September! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development while gaining a nationally recognised qualification. Working alongside experienced staff, you will help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Support children in accessing a rich, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Encourage children's independence, confidence and curiosity through play-based learning.
- Observe children's progress and contribute to assessments and learning records.
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
- Assist with children's personal care, including toileting, handwashing and mealtimes where appropriate.
- Promote children's health, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
- Prepare and tidy learning environments and resources.
- Support indoor and outdoor learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions and apprenticeship reviews.
- Complete all apprenticeship coursework and off-the-job training.
