Safe Door Industries Ltd in Carlisle are looking to recruit a Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprentice to join their team this September!
Safe Door are based in Brampton and we design, manufacture and install door systems worldwide. The product lines are distinct and innovative. We provide door solutions for two markets, thermal control and sound control.
The Role
Reporting to the Finishing Supervisor you will manufacture a range of control systems including variable speed and fixed speed drive systems under the guidance and supervision of a qualified electrician.
You will be trained in the use of machinery such as cutting and drilling machines as well as a range of tools and techniques for the manufacture of control equipment.
You will be provided with a range of instructions from drawings to written and oral and be expected to follow these instructions to produce the required items using the appropriate process and procedures.
This job would suit someone who has the desire to work in a creative environment and who has the will to take on multiple tasks and deliver them to the best of their ability.

Working hours
Monday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm
Friday 8am-1.30pm

Qualifications

GCSE Maths, English and a Science based subject at Grade 4/C
