Safe Door Industries Ltd in Carlisle is recruiting a Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprentice to join the team in September. The role reports to the Finishing Supervisor and involves manufacturing a range of control systems, including variable and fixed speed drive systems, under the guidance of a qualified electrician.
Responsibilities
- You will be trained in using machinery such as cutting and drilling machines, and other tools and techniques for manufacturing control equipment.
- You will follow instructions from drawings, written and oral directions to produce the required items using appropriate processes and procedures.
- This role is suitable for someone who is willing to work in a creative environment, manage multiple tasks and deliver them to the best of their ability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Genuinely interested in working as an engineering fitter.
- Hardworking and punctual.
