We are currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants / Support Workers to support a client recovering from surgery in a private home in Croydon. This role is ideal for compassionate carers who enjoy providing person-centred care and practical support in a home environment. The position is expected to run for 6–8 weeks with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the client with safe mobility around the home
  • Preparing healthy meals including protein and vegetable-based dishes
  • Encouraging regular meals and hydration
  • Housekeeping duties including kitchen cleaning and tidying
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns
  • Supporting the client’s independence and recovery

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant
  • Right to work in the UK
