Permanent Warehouse/ Forklift Operative required for Moira. Hours of Work: Sunday – Thursday 4:00pm – (Start – Job and Finished) 42.5 hrs per week + 30 minutes unpaid break. Purpose of Job As a Warehouse Operative you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities. You will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of bakery ingredients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Duties will include: Operate Forklift Trucks (counterbalance/reach) and other MHE safely and in line with company policies. Accurately pick stock for production and dispatch orders according to instructions and order sheets. Put stock away into appropriate storage locations using barcode scanners or manual records. Carry out stock counts and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and health & safety within the warehouse. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, checking goods in/out. Work closely with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and accuracy. Follow all company procedures including food safety, allergen control, and hygiene standards.
