Gentech Recruitment are partnering with our client based in Kilkeel, who are expanding their team and are looking for a Team Leader.
Duties:
- Manage a team to ensure that products manufactured and supplied by the company are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Lead a line of production operatives within the Production department.
- Ensure products are produced to high quality standards.
- Work to BRC standards and major retailer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and walk the line to identify any issues ahead of them arising and take appropriate action.
- Deal with issues as and when required.
- Ensure the team operates within high quality, safety, and legality standards.
- Work alongside the Production Manager to ensure high quality standards are being achieved.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Food Team Leader.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Team Leader role within a food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to demonstrate good manual dexterity.
- Evidence of effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Evidence of good timekeeping and reliability.
- Able to manage and motivate a team.
- Able to ensure production targets are met.
- Able to complete quality paperwork.
