Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Craigavon, who are currently recruiting a Plant Asset Manager to oversee and optimise the Plant asset portfolio.
Duties:
- Maintain detailed reports of all plant assets, including equipment, machinery, tools and infrastructure.
- Coordinate routine maintenance and preventative upkeep of plant equipment.
- Monitor condition of assets throughout their life cycle.
- Conduct regular quality control assessments to ensure assets meet operational standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance and reliability.
- Utilise SAP systems for tracking and reporting on asset performance metrics.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as necessary for maintenance or upgrades.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure optimal supply chain management related to assets.
- Provide input on capital expenditure planning and future equipment needs.
Essential:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in asset management or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of business processes and their impact on asset utilisation.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and servicing of all company plant, machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers to develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the fabrication teams to improve machinery efficiency and longevity.
- Combination of office and site-based work, with regular visits to operational areas.
