Parts and Service Coordinator Lisburn Permanent Gentech Recruitment are delighted too be partnering with our client based in Lisburn, who are currently seeking an experienced Parts and Service Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of service activities, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong organisational skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. The Service Coordinator will play a vital role in liaising between customers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Duties Coordinate service requests and schedule appointments for equipment repairs and maintenance. Manage logistics related to shipping and receiving of parts and equipment. Negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing on parts and services required for repairs. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment repair history and customer interactions. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely availability of parts needed for repairs. Assist in training new staff on operational procedures related to service coordination. Experience Previous experience in a similar role within mechanical service industry is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of repair processes is highly desirable. Proficient in using CMMS software or similar systems for tracking maintenance activities. Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and customers. Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
