Trade Counter Sales Assistant Lisburn Location: Lisburn Pay: £12.71 per hour Hours: MondayFriday + alternate Saturday mornings Gentech Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join an established and busy branch based in Lisburn. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You will be responsible for supporting both trade and retail customers, dealing with enquiries, processing sales and providing advice on products while helping to maximise sales opportunities within the branch. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Handling trade and retail counter sales enquiries in a professional and helpful manner Providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers Supporting customers with product selection and providing knowledgeable advice Processing customer orders and sales Cash handling and processing payments Operating a computerised stock and ordering system Developing good product knowledge Identifying opportunities to maximise sales Working closely with colleagues across the branch Maintaining a professional and welcoming trade counter environment What Were Looking For The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience in a trade counter, sales or customer-facing position Strong communication and customer service skills A genuine passion for delivering an excellent customer experience A target-driven approach with a focus on achieving sales opportunities Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone Good computer skills The ability to work independently as well as part of a branch team Knowledge of building materials, timber or hardware would be advantageous A willingness to learn and develop strong product knowledge Working Hours MondayThursday: 8:00am5:00pm Friday: 8:00am4:00pm Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am12:30pm What's on Offer? £12.71 per hour Full-time hours Temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent Established and supportive branch team Opportunity to develop knowledge within the building materials and trade sector Immediate opportunity available Skills: Customer Service Plumbing Sales TPBN1_NI
