Permanent Multi-Skilled Plant Operative required for Lisburn.
About the role:
- Operate and monitor the AD plant and associated systems using SOPs, SCADA and local controls to meet performance targets.
- Manage start-ups, shutdowns, isolations and respond to process deviations to optimise plant efficiency.
- Carry out first-line mechanical/electrical maintenance and support PPMs, engineers and contractors.
- Receive, inspect and handle feedstock; operate mobile plant (if trained) and maintain site housekeeping.
- Work safely and compliantly with all H&S, environmental permits and ABP requirements.
- Complete shift logs, KPIs and handovers, working closely with the wider operations team.
Criteria:
- Experience in a process plant environment with SCADA/PLC operation.
- Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
- Strong health, safety and environmental awareness.
- Good communication, teamwork and basic IT skills; flexible to 4 on / 4 off shifts.
Desirable:
- AD/biogas or wastewater experience.
- Relevant qualifications.
- CHP/gas systems and mobile plant tickets.
- Telehandler / Forklift / Loading Shovel Tickets.
Salary: Starting £15.25 per hr OT 1.3 times.
Hours of Work: 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, dayshift. (4 on / 4 off shift pattern)
