P/T Permanent HGV Class II Driver required for Lisburn Hours of Work: Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 8.00 am - 1.00 pm Salary: £15.00 per hr Duties will include: Safely operate 26-tonne milk tankers and 14-tonne rigid vehicles as required. Collect raw milk from farms and transport it in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards. Carry out pallet deliveries to customers and distribution centres. Load and unload goods safely and securely. Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately using a handheld device. Follow planned routes, collection times and delivery schedules. Maintain a friendly, professional and customer-focused approach. Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly. Keep vehicles clean and ensure appropriate hygiene standards are maintained, particularly for milk tanker operations. Comply with all relevant road traffic legislation, drivers' hours regulations, company policies and health and safety procedures. Milk tanker training will be provided. Essential Criteria: Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C driving licence. Valid (CPC) and digital tachograph card. A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving. Good timekeeping, reliability and a strong work ethic. The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Desirable Experience Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience. Experience with pallet deliveries and goods handling. Previous milk tanker or bulk liquid transport experience.
