Mechanical Pipe Fitter Craigavon Permanent Hours of work: Monday -Thursday 7am-5pm Friday 7am-4pm Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Craigavon who are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Pipe Fitter to join their team. Duties Assemble and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications. Maintain and repair existing piping systems to ensure optimal functionality. Utilise power tools and welding equipment, including stick welding, to complete tasks effectively. Solder pipes and fittings as required for various installations. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Troubleshoot issues related to plumbing and piping systems, providing effective solutions promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing/ engineering industry. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency in using power tools, welding techniques, and soldering methods. Ability to build, plumb, and assemble various types of piping systems efficiently.
