F/T Permanent Food Technical Administrator required for locally homegrown business based in Belfast. My client is seeking an experienced and organised Food Technical Administrator to join their busy Technical team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment.

Duties will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Technical team
  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation, specifications, and records
  • Assisting with customer and supplier documentation requests
  • Supporting audits, compliance checks, and quality assurance processes
  • Ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with company and industry standards
  • Liaising with internal departments including Production, Quality, and Procurement
  • Filing, data entry, report preparation, and general office administration duties
  • Supporting the management of traceability and product information systems
  • Assisting with investigation records, corrective actions, and non-conformance reporting where required

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar Food Technical Administrator or Technical Assistant role within the food industry is essential
  • Good understanding of food safety, quality, and compliance documentation
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm & Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm

Salary & Benefits: £29,000 - £30,000 per annum, Paid breaks, Lunch provided daily, Permanent, full-time position.
