Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Craigavon who are currently recruiting for a Welder/ Fabricator Supervisor.
Duties:
- Liaise with the Senior Fabricator & Fabrication Coordinator where required to establish workload requirements.
- Read and fully understand the pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
- Fabricate pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipe ranging from 65mm to 500mm) from shop drawings.
- Ensure company welding procedures are adhered to and pipe preparation and fit up is carried out to the correct standard.
- Liaise regularly with line managers regarding any defects, safety issues and any non-conformances.
- Ensure allocated work progresses in a timely manner and in accordance with workload and specifications.
Essential:
- Previous MIG and TIG Welding experience.
- Previous Fabrication experience.
- Previous Supervisory experience.
