The Role

  • Take ownership of all kitchen operations across the restaurant, bar, banqueting and events areas, ensuring exceptional food quality, strong financial performance, and the development of a high-performing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily kitchen operations
  • Control budgets, stock, purchasing and labour costs
  • Create innovative menus using local produce and current food trends
  • Maintain HACCP, Food Safety and COSHH compliance
  • Drive high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Recruit, coach and develop the kitchen team
  • Build strong supplier relationships and manage stock effectively

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef within a 4-star hotel or similar hospitality environment
  • Professional cookery qualification and Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Strong leadership, budgeting and stock control experience
  • Experience managing HACCP and kitchen compliance
  • Creative menu development skills and passion for quality food
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable

  • Passion for local produce and hospitality excellence
  • Experience in banqueting and large-scale events
