Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Belfast who are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Your Duties:

  • Ensure an environment and culture of safe working practices are understood and maintained, by personally demonstrating safe behavior and taking responsibility for the setting and management of health & safety of engineering staff and contractors.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety risk assessments are completed and actioned.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on sites across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
  • Past experience in cable management (cable termination, installation of cable trays, cable ladders etc.) and panel wiring.
  • Past experience inspecting, diagnosing and repairing 3 phase motors, control circuits, safety circuits.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 18th Edition Qualified to a minimum of HNC level in an engineering or electrical discipline.
  • Apprenticeship trained and tested.
  • Experience in dealing with external service providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment whilst proven experience of objective delivery.
