Contract: One-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of permanent employment

Our client is an established and award-winning construction and civil engineering business delivering residential, commercial, educational and infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Great Britain. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a creative and proactive Marketing Officer to join their team in Dungannon.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to develop their career within a growing and forward-thinking organisation. The Marketing Officer will support the promotion of the company’s projects, services and brand, helping to strengthen brand awareness and contribute to its continued strategic growth. Working as part of a small and agile team, you will take marketing ideas from the initial brief through to final delivery, producing engaging content across digital, print and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver marketing activities promoting the company’s projects, services and brand.
  • Produce creative content including photography, drone imagery, graphics and video content.
  • Develop marketing materials from initial concept through to final output.
  • Design infographics, digital graphics, presentations and promotional materials.
  • Create and manage content across social media platforms and the company website.
  • Draft press releases, project updates and professional company communications.
  • Produce and edit engaging short-form video content.
  • Support the planning and delivery of company events, project launches, site visits and promotional activities.
  • Monitor marketing performance and provide analysis and reporting on marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate multiple marketing projects in line with departmental plans and deadlines.
  • Maintain and update marketing budgets.
  • Prepare marketing updates for internal meetings and Board reports.
  • Monitor industry trends and communication channels to ensure marketing activity remains innovative and effective.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and project teams to support marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure communications are clear, professional and aligned with the company’s values, culture and brand.
  • Support social value and community engagement activities when required.

Essential Criteria

  • A third-level qualification in Marketing, Design, Communications or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
  • Experience producing visual content, including photography and video.
  • Experience creating and editing video content.
  • Strong creative ability, with experience developing ideas and delivering finished marketing materials.
  • Experience within the construction, civil engineering or engineering sector would be advantageous.
