Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Dungannon who are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects, from Design stage to practical completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within cost whilst maximising client satisfaction, integrating health & safety and quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulations and contract requirements.
Duties
- To manage and develop your project delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of the projects in a timely manner.
- Liaise regularly with the client via online or face-to-face meetings and regular on-site discussions to ensure they are satisfied with current progress and the forecast of up-and-coming works.
- Ensure your managers & site teams are working as efficiently as possible and all high-level objectives have been set out for your management team to accomplish in target dates.
- Ensure project value, drawings, specification and order are agreed and in place before works commence.
- Liaise with the project delivery teams to ensure all high-level templates are populated and set out for the Construction team to follow.
- Forecast Project Spend at outset of the projects and communicate projections to the Operations Managers and Commercial team.
- Assess requirement for labour and sub-contractors to undertake various elements of installation work and the development/expansion of your team.
- Review & assist Commercial team in the preparation and evaluation of monthly applications (Client & Sub-Contractor).
- Provide accurate information on contract variation and monthly claims back through to the commercial team for their monthly valuations.
- Attend monthly meetings with the Operations Manager to discuss team performance and areas to develop the team as well as looking at job performance in-line with project budgets.
- Ensure & assist the tracking of project performance is tracked on a weekly basis via progress reporting back to the Client.
- Work alongside the Operations Manager to forecast additional resource requirements in-line with company projections.

- First class communicator with highly developed staff management and leadership skills.
