Hours: 40 hours per week Gentech Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established supermarket in Dungannon that is seeking an experienced Butcher to join its growing team.

The Role Cutting, trimming and preparing fresh meat products to a high standard.

Preparing and presenting products for the butchery counter.

Serving customers and preparing orders to their requirements.

Weighing, pricing, packaging and labelling products accurately.

Monitoring stock, rotating products and checking use-by dates.

Receiving and storing deliveries safely.

Maintaining excellent food hygiene, quality and temperature-control standards.

Cleaning and sanitising counters, equipment and work areas.

Operating knives and butchery machinery safely.

Minimising waste through effective preparation and stock management.

Supporting and training Butchery Assistants.

Assisting with promotions and seasonal product ranges.

About You Previous experience working as a Butcher.

Strong knife skills and meat-preparation knowledge.

Good understanding of food hygiene and safe handling procedures.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Reliable, hardworking and organised.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
