- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Role Overview:
My client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the finance and administration functions of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with payroll activities, and supporting quality management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier purchase invoices and customer sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Process weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Assist with job costing and the monitoring of project-related costs.
- Manage invoicing, expense tracking, and other financial administration tasks using Sage and Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support the updating and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial queries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role.
- Working knowledge of Sage accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience processing payroll would be advantageous.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised and methodical.
