Gentech Recruitment is partnering with our client based in Kilkeel, who are expanding their team and are looking for a Team Leader.

Duties:

  • Manage a team to ensure that products manufactured and supplied by the company are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead a line of production operatives within the Production department.
  • Ensure products are produced to high quality standards.
  • Work to BRC standards and major retailer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot by walking the line to identify any issues ahead of them arising and taking appropriate action.
  • Deal with issues as and when required.
  • Ensure that the team operates within high quality, safety, and legality standards.
  • Work alongside the Production Manager to ensure high quality standards are being achieved.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Food Team Leader.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Team Leader role within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate good manual dexterity.
  • Evidence of effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Evidence of good timekeeping and reliability.
  • Able to manage and motivate a team.
  • Able to ensure production targets are met.
  • Able to complete quality paperwork.
