The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

Permanent Production Operative required for Dayshift based in Maghaberry.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm

Salary: £ per annum

Purpose of Job

To operate machinery and perform tasks in the production and packaging of food products.

Main Duties

  • Ensure product manufactured is consistent and of high quality.
  • Follow all applicable quality and food safety procedures, guidelines and policies including GMPs, cleaning schedules and CCPs.
  • Observe all legal and quality process control policies and regulations.
  • Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
  • Accurately maintain company records and forms.
  • Report any defective materials, food safety concerns or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
  • Complete all operator testing requirements specifically calibration, startup checks and CCP checks.
  • Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
  • Clean and maintain work areas and machinery.
  • Covers in the absence of the Production Supervisor.

Essentials

  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene
  • Ability to work as an effective team member including accepting supervision / assistance from other team members
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently
  • Good communicator
  • Access to a car due to client location

Desirable

  • HACCP, BRCGS
