Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established client in Annalong who are expanding their kitchen team and looking for an experienced Cook to join them on a permanent basis.

Location: Annalong

Pay Rate: £13.87 per hour

Hours: Full-time 42.5 hours per week (between 8am - 7pm)

The Role:

Youll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

Duties include:

  • Preparing ingredients and cooking meals to specification
  • Following recipes and production methods accurately
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Carrying out quality and safety checks
  • Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

What were looking for:

  • At least 2 years experience in a catering or kitchen environment
  • Previous experience preparing fresh food
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen

Desirable:

  • Experience in a fresh food production kitchen
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience working to targets or budgets
