Permanent Junior Cad Designer required for Lisburn. Key Responsibilities: CAD Drawing and Design: Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.). Assist in preparing drawings for various engineering, construction, or manufacturing projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Modify and update existing designs based on feedback from senior designers or engineers. Collaboration and Support: Work with senior CAD designers, engineers, and other team members to understand project specifications and design requirements. Communicate with team members to ensure designs meet project goals and deadlines. Documentation and File Management: Maintain organized design files and drawings, ensuring they are properly labeled and easy to access. Assist in preparing technical documents or reports for presentations and project reviews. Quality Control and Accuracy: Ensure that all designs and drawings comply with relevant industry standards and company guidelines. Review designs for errors and inconsistencies, ensuring that all dimensions and technical aspects are accurate. Modifications and Revisions: Implement changes to design drawings based on client feedback or design revisions. Assist in preparing revisions and updates in response to project scope changes or new requirements. Learning and Development: Stay up to date with new CAD tools, software updates, and industry standards. Participate in training and learning opportunities to improve design and CAD skills. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree or certificate in CAD design, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Entry-level or some experience with CAD software (internships, coursework, or previous job experience in design is a plus). Familiarity with design processes and technical drawing principles. Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work. Basic understanding of design principles, engineering drawings, and project specifications. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically when making design adjustments.
