F/T Management Accountant for approximately 3 months based in Lisburn. Your duties will include: Preparing accurate monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports. Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, prepayments and other month-end adjustments. Preparing and reviewing balance sheet specifications and reconciliations. Completing VAT reconciliations and ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Supporting the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes. Reviewing financial information and investigating any unusual movements or discrepancies. Ensuring transactions are recorded accurately within the ERP/accounting system. Assisting with financial analysis and providing information to support management decision-making. Working closely with other members of the finance team and relevant departments to resolve queries. Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records. Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls and reporting. Supporting other finance-related tasks as required during the contract. Essential Criteria 25 years' experience in a Management Accountant role, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified would be advantageous. Good knowledge and practical experience of management accounting and month-end processes. Experience using ERP/accounting systems. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. A structured and analytical approach to work. The ability to investigate issues, identify discrepancies and find practical solutions. A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently. Good organisational and time-management skills. A willingness to look for ways to improve existing processes and ways of working.
