As the Financial Manager you will support the Finance Director and play a critical role in guiding the financial health and growth of the business. You will be responsible for managing all financial operations, providing strategic financial insights, and supporting decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Monitor cash flow, banking, and financing requirements
  • Develop financial models and provide analysis to support strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax obligations
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
  • Oversee and improve internal financial controls and systems
  • Support senior management with business planning and risk management

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 5 years PQE with experience in a similar finance or accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax, and reporting requirements
  • Experience using accounting software SAP
  • Microsoft Excel (advanced)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or product-based business
  • Familiarity with inventory and project costing systems
  • Prior experience in a leadership or management capacity
