As the Financial Manager you will support the Finance Director and play a critical role in guiding the financial health and growth of the business. You will be responsible for managing all financial operations, providing strategic financial insights, and supporting decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Monitor cash flow, banking, and financing requirements
- Develop financial models and provide analysis to support strategic decisions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax obligations
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
- Oversee and improve internal financial controls and systems
- Support senior management with business planning and risk management
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 5 years PQE with experience in a similar finance or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax, and reporting requirements
- Experience using accounting software SAP
- Microsoft Excel (advanced)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or product-based business
- Familiarity with inventory and project costing systems
- Prior experience in a leadership or management capacity
