The successful candidate will be responsible for operating brake press machinery to accurately bend and shape sheet metal components in accordance with technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate brake press machines to produce precise bends on sheet metal parts.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to ensure accurate production runs.
- Perform routine inspections of finished components for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading sheet metal sheets.
- Conduct basic maintenance on machinery, including lubrication and minor repairs as needed.
- Document production data accurately for quality control purposes.
