Gentech are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Antrim who are currently recruiting a Welding Trainer, supporting the Training Manager. You don't need to have formal training experience, just a wealth of welding knowledge and the desire to share it! Duties
- Support the Training Manager in all aspects of training, from planning to execution.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance across the department.
- Upskill existing operators to foster continuous development and growth.
- Assist in creating, updating, and distributing work instructions and single-point lessons to keep training materials relevant and effective.
- Contribute to health & safety validation and sign-offs as required.
- Provide daily feedback on operator progress to supervisors and cell leaders.
- Support additional upskilling and development tasks as needed.
Essential
- Time Served Welder
- Ability to read and interpret spec sheets and drawings.
- A natural communicator and problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office and email skills, plus strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Confidence in teaching technical skills while promoting a culture of safety and quality.
