Gentech are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Toome, who are looking to expand their team of Field Service Engineers.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Assemble and fit industrial shredding machinery in line with engineering drawings and build specifications
- Support machine preparation and testing prior to dispatch
- Carry out on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform routine maintenance at customer facilities
- Provide technical support and feedback to the After Sales Manager and wider engineering team
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately and on time
- Ensure all tools, parts, and equipment are maintained in good working order
Essential:
- 3 years experience in a mechanical assembly or field service engineering role
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience in industrial equipment or heavy machinery assembly is highly desirable
- Basic electrical or hydraulic experience would be advantageous
- Full clean driving licence is essential
