This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the Southampton entity and become a key member of our team as we continue to substantially grow our business. The role sits within the Investor Services Transfer Agency Department, reporting to the Transfer Agency Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparation of daily and weekly controls related to investor instructions.
- Maintenance of the investor register, including update of investor static data (e.g: bank details, contact details).
- Perform daily and weekly first level controls related to investor transactions, transaction validation and reconciliation.
- Production of investor level reporting for internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Cash flow monitoring and reconciliation: Source of funds (validate incoming payments from investors including detection of receipts from 3rd parties).
- Late receipt monitoring: follow up on outstanding capital call payments and associated reporting and reconciliation.
- Query management, monitoring and oversight of queries received from internal and external parties. Ensure queries are acknowledged and responded to in a timely manner, including direct interaction with clients and or investors.
- Ensure adherence to all established procedures and controls.
- Ensure timely escalation of issues to Transfer Agency management.
- Preparation of audit packs for review by Transfer Agency management prior to providing to internal and external examinations.
- Collaborate closely with other departments in both Luxembourg (e.g Client Services, Registration), US (e.g: client services) locations, and UK.
The ideal background for this role:
- University degree or equivalent.
- Any knowledge of Real Estate and Private Equity funds and associated regulatory obligations of a Luxembourg PFS would be considered an asset.
- Excellent level of English, both verbal and written. Additional languages considered an advantage.
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player, client focused and highly motivated to join a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment.
Role Location/Hybrid Schedule:
This role can be based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
