The Senior System Analyst is an important and integral part of the Gen II Data Strategy team. It requires thorough attention to detail and precise work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. The candidate will partner closely with Operations, Support and Engineering teams to ensure our tools and workflows enable high-quality, efficient support for client service teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own the administration, configuration and ongoing improvement of accounting platforms.
- Monitor and action incidents and service requests ensuring end user satisfaction.
- Monitor and improve data integrity.
- Work with project stakeholders to validate their requirements for scalable solutions and a product roadmap.
- Provide ongoing change control, maintenance, and end-user support.
- Implement future system functionality and oversee system release updates and user acceptance testing as well as incident resolution and system outage support.
- Interact with all levels of the organization across multiple time zones.
- Develop and provide training for employees and managers to enhance user adoption.
- Participate on global teams evaluating processes and making suggestions for process and system improvements.
- Develop communication, training materials, and testing and implementation plans for projects, systems, processes, and/or product lines.
- Create and maintain procedures, guidelines, and reports to support the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years administering accounting platforms.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of integration points of assigned business/systems and processes.
- Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Achieving stated objectives within the designated time frame.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Providing analytical skill/content knowledge to contribute to team effort.
- Ability to explore alternative approaches to tasks, existing processes, and other objectives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred
- Exposure to Private Equity a plus.
- Experience managing Sage Intacct/Investran.
- Experience using Agile methodology.
Role Location/Hybrid Schedule
This role is based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
