This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the established Luxembourg entity and become a key member of our team further developing the business. As a Depositary Administrator, you will be primarily responsible for day‑to‑day operational tasks, including cash flow monitoring, asset record‑keeping, and the preparation of checklists and supporting documentation. You will support the daily activities of the Depositary team in Luxembourg, contributing to the effective execution of outsourced depositary services. What you’ll be doing:
- Collect and organise documentation related to investments and divestments;
- Maintain asset registers in the Depositary system;
- Prepare investment and divestment checklists and submit them to the Manager for review;
- Upload cash transactions into the depositary system on a daily basis;
- Assist the Luxembourg team in collecting supporting documentation to fulfil cash flow monitoring duties;
- Perform reconciliations of monthly cash activity;
- Assist the Luxembourg team in collecting statements from fund administrators and other third parties for asset reconciliation purposes;
- Support the Luxembourg team in drafting operating memoranda for new clients;
- Ensure the timely and complete execution of assigned tasks and report directly to the Team Manager.
The ideal background for this role:
- Preferred experience of 1-2 years ideally in another Depositary, fund accounting firm, an audit company or any relevant entity servicing funds in the E.U.
- Preference for candidate to be studying towards or willingness to study for a professional qualification such as: Certificate or Diploma in Fund Administration CISI – Foundation
- Understanding of the finance industry and regulatory requirements in which we operate
- Excellent organisational skills complemented by a “can do” attitude
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel and Word
Role Location/Hybrid Schedule
This role is based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
