Gen II (UK) Southampton Fusion 3, Solent Business Park 4500 Parkway Southampton, WHIT PO157AD, GBR Gen II is currently seeking a Reconciliation Team Manager (“Manager”) to join our growing team of professionals. This individual will be actively involved in the services noted below. What you’ll be doing Oversee daily management of the account reconciliation team Coordinate daily workflow for team to meet service level agreements Build out and continue to improve account reconciliation processes and procedures Provide support, on an as-requested basis, to the accountants and investor service professionals related to the reconciliation of clients’ accounts. Respond to internal and external client inquiries in a prompt manner, utilizing oral and written communications Identify discrepancies, research issues, and communicate findings, both internally and externally Take ownership of certain team tasks such as weekly reporting, client-specific weekly reconciliation, and leading cross functional initiatives Collaborate with management and team to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvement Review daily bank reconciliations and cash position reports Communicate with client service teams regarding cash reconciliation issues and potential courses of action Monitor incoming correspondence and managing task assignments and associate workloads Monitor daily workflow to ensure all reconciliation workflows are being reconciled Provide weekly data reports to management across the firm Help create and modify documented policies and procedures Training responsibilities as needed Lead the hiring process for reconciliation associates Operate in a deadline driven, high volume and constantly changing environment Other assigned projects Overtime is based on business needs The ideal background for this role: Bachelor’s Degree 3-5 Years of Supervisory or Management experience 3-5 Years of Reconciliation/Treasury Experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong work ethic Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Meticulous attention to detail Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High degree of professional poise Strong relationship building skills Ability to thrive as part of a team, while also being able to work independently 1-5 Years Corporate Finance Experience 3-5 Years Treasury Management Experience Prior professional experience working in an office environment Proficiency at training Role Location/Hybrid Schedule This position is based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working.
