Role Summary: Assembles finished goods to Customer orders, keeping to required quality and productivity targets.
Primary Objectives:
- Assemble finished goods to Customer Orders
- Meet (or exceed) Quality standards
- Meet (or exceed) hourly productivity targets
- Follow Standard Work
- Cross-train across different production areas (defined in Production Training Matrix)
Main Responsibilities:
- Customer obsessed: Production of finished goods to required targets
- Build extraordinary teams: Is an active and engaged member of the team, communicates well and provides improvement ideas. Is an example to others.
- Deliver results: Keep production below the defined acceptable level of internal and external quality issues.
- Lead with RBS: Follows Standard Work & 5S Housekeeping and provides feedback for process improvement opportunities.
- Productivity: Adaptable, ability to take on new ideas and best practice.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge required to be successful in role:
- Technical Skills/Knowledge: Nimble / dextrous at manual assembly, able to understand assembly drawings and related production documentation.
- Soft skills: Excellent teamwork skills, ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, able to learn from constructive feedback.
