Preferred Skill Sets:
- Master’s in finance or equivalent, CFA/FRM preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in capital markets, investment management, risk analytics, portfolio analytics, or financial technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
- Proven experience managing complex technology programs, coordinating multiple workstreams and driving end-to-end delivery.
- Strong understanding of banking and capital markets, particularly Fixed Income, Rates and electronic trading and execution workflows.
- Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation and analytics.
- Understanding of electronic trading systems and market connectivity, including OMS/EMS, execution gateways, risk systems, and platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, TransFICC, MarketAxess, and Tradeweb.
- Good understanding of FIX Protocol and proprietary/vendor APIs.
- Experience working with Fixed Income / Rates trading and electronic execution workflows, including Bonds, Swaps, Futures and Options.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
- Experience in Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to manage delivery plans, milestones, priorities and cross-functional dependencies.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and actionable deliverables.
- Experience working with global teams and distributed delivery models, preferably across onshore and offshore locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate technology workstreams across OMS/EMS platforms, execution gateways, market data integrations and order-to-trade workflows, ensuring seamless integration across the electronic trading ecosystem
- Work closely with trading, business, and technology stakeholders to understand priorities and oversee delivery across electronic trading, execution platforms, market connectivity and downstream trade processing.
- Own end-to-end program delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, agreed scope, timelines, quality standards and delivery commitments.
- Establish and maintain program governance structures, including steering committee meetings, status reviews, RAID logs, action trackers and escalation mechanisms.
- Define delivery plans, milestones, critical paths, and success criteria. Monitor progress across workstreams and proactively address delays, bottlenecks and delivery risks.
- Coordinate resource allocation, capacity planning, and team utilization across workstreams, ensuring the availability of appropriate skills and delivery capabilities.
- Oversee coordination of system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, release readiness, business validation and formal client sign-off.
- Coordinate the resolution of production issues, trading workflow exceptions and market connectivity challenges, ensuring appropriate ownership, escalation and communication of business impact.
- Maintain program dashboards and management reports covering milestones, deliverables, resource utilization, risks, dependencies, budget and overall delivery health.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support innovation in practice areas, client project proposals, client discussions, and thought leadership.
- Promote standardization, reusable delivery practices, documentation quality and continuous process improvement.
