We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager for a hydroelectric project in Laos. The scope of work includes repair and refurbishment activities on a 178 MW vertical Kaplan turbine. The first runner repair is close to completion. Repair works for six additional runners are scheduled to start in approximately three months, and at that point the new Site Manager must be fully in position. The overall project duration depends on the client’s handover strategy (either machines one by one or in pairs). Based on this, we expect a minimum project duration of three years, with a maximum of six years.
Profile we are looking for:
- Worked overseas before on large scale projects
- Solid hydro power plant experience, preferably with Kaplan turbines
- Proven experience in leading large sites and multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to engage in a long-term assignment, as we intend to invest in and further develop this role
