We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to take ownership of our stores function. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations, supporting both production and dispatch activities. You will help maintain accurate inventory levels and work closely with internal teams to ensure stock is effectively managed. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming deliveries by checking quantities against supplier documentation and accurately book goods into the inventory system
  • Pick products for dispatch and production
  • Pack small control panels for courier shipment or customer collection
  • Monitor inventory levels and support timely reordering
  • Liaise with the purchaser to ensure stock is reordered and maintained at appropriate levels
  • Report discrepancies to the office
  • Independently lead and manage the stores function, ensuring efficient daily operations
  • Working online with our ISO requirements

Requirements

  • Previous knowledge of inventory systems
  • Worked in a store's role for 2+ years
  • Forklift truck license
  • This is an on-site role requiring attendance at the workplace on a daily basis
  • While prior experience in the electrical industry is not required, a strong ability to remember product codes and storage locations is essential.
