We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Tug / Shunter Driver to join our team on an ongoing assignment, with a Temp to Perm available.
Location: Hinckley, LE10 area
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 21:00 – 06:45
Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour
Overtime Rate: £29.25 per hour after 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Additional Hours: Sunday overtime may be available
The Role: You will be responsible for operating a tug vehicle within a busy logistics environment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trailers and vehicles across site.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC, regardless of whether driving on or off site
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 6 months' Class 1 HGV Shunting experience
- Digital Tachograph Card must be used whenever driving
- Successful assessment is essential for this position
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday night work, with the potential to earn additional overtime.
