To help accomplish this, we are looking for a self-motivated team player who can help us on our journey, taking initiative and contributing effectively. As a home-based Field Service Engineer principally covering Horsham and the surrounding areas, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of electro-mechanical garage equipment at customers' sites.

  • Carry out routine maintenance / servicing / diagnostics / repairs on a wide range of garage equipment products including vehicle lifts, wheel & tyre, brake testers, gas analysers and smoke testers.
  • Completion and submission of accurate paperwork as required, adhering to health and safety regulations and complying with the Quality System.
  • Ensuring control of own van stock to meet First Time Fix targets.
  • Prepared to work overtime when required (which is paid).

A good level of technical education, ideally with relevant trade qualifications in garage equipment servicing or a related discipline, or experienced in working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, with relevant transferable skills applicable to garage equipment.

To have a good working knowledge and experience of activities in a field service environment. A reasonable understanding of PCs / networking for equipment set up, or when troubleshooting.

The ability to deliver excellent service to customers with a positive 'can do' attitude towards solving their problems. A Full UK driving licence is essential.
